The Watchmen

The price of liberty is vigilance.

The Watchmen serve as the civic arm of the Ninth Spur Covenant — a network of citizens committed to stewardship, constitutional literacy, responsible firearm ownership, and informed civic engagement.

I.

Standing Watch.

Liberty is not preserved by outrage, but by attention.

The Watchmen exist to monitor the issues that affect individual rights, educate responsible citizens, and encourage lawful civic participation within our communities.

We believe that informed citizens are stronger guardians than uninformed crowds.

We stand watch not because freedom is lost, but because it must be maintained.

✦ Sworn & Sealed ✦

We stand watch not because liberty is threatened today, but because it may be threatened tomorrow.

We remain informed when others grow indifferent.

We remain engaged when others grow silent.

We remain prepared when others grow complacent.

We honor the Constitution, respect the responsibilities of citizenship, and safeguard the liberties entrusted to every free people.

We stand watch not for ourselves alone, but for those who will inherit what we preserve.

This is our duty.

This is our stewardship.

This is our watch.
